Play Caishen’s Arrival Game on Candyland Casino
Caishen’s Arrival is an online slot made by Betsoft. It was released in 2021 and is built around the Chinese god of wealth, Caishen. The game is available at Candyland Casino online, where British gamblers can try it with real money or in demo mode. It stands out from other titles because it combines a traditional Chinese theme with a cascading reel mechanic and a free spins round that can lead to big multipliers. The slot runs on a 6×4 grid with 4,096 ways to win. This means there are no fixed paylines — wins happen when matching icons land on adjacent reels from left to right. The design uses red and gold colours, lanterns and dragons to reflect the Lunar New Year feel. Betsoft focused on creating a title that appeals to fans of Asian-themed games who also want strong bonus potential.

How Caishen’s Arrival Works?
Caishen’s Arrival uses a cascading mechanic. When a winning combination lands, those icons disappear and new ones fall into their place. This can create several wins from a single spin. The mechanic is the core reason this casino Candyland title appeals to players who like chain reactions. Each cascade within one spin adds to a multiplier. The multiplier starts at 1× and goes up with every winning drop. This means a long chain of cascades can multiply a win significantly.
Free Spins Round
The free spins feature starts when three or more scatter icons land on the reels. Here is how the round works:
- 3 scatters — 10 free spins
- 4 scatters — 15 free spins
- 5 scatters — 20 free spins
- 6 scatters — 25 free spins
During free spins, the multiplier does not reset between spins. It carries over from one spin to the next. This is the strongest part of the bonus round. However, by choosing this carry-over multiplier system for higher potential wins, the game inevitably sacrifices consistency — most sessions will end with small totals because big multipliers are rare. The main compromise of the free spins design is that in order to achieve large payouts, a user has to put up with long stretches of low returns.
Volatility and RTP
Caishen’s Arrival has a high volatility rating. The RTP sits at 96.2%, which is in line with most Betsoft titles. High volatility means wins come less often but tend to be larger when they do arrive. For British gamblers at Candyland online casino who prefer steady play, this may feel slow. The game suits fans who are comfortable waiting for a bonus round. It does not suit users who prefer frequent small wins from low-volatility slots.
